The book is divided into three main parts, as follows:

  • Foundations: this part focuses on the key theories and latest literature review of policing, which rely on social and management research and field study work. These elements will be revealed by revising the dates and trends of police performance.

  • Strategies: this part illustrates defensive and prevention strategies for the modern police force, in order for them to tackle their missions and objectives, and to deploy effective law enforcement on grounds of innovative police tactics.

  • Innovations: this part illustrates the most powerful instruments for managing police duties, and the contemporary policing procedures and policies for developing their performance. In addition it lays out an efficient way of organizing police knowledge and resources.
