The concept of change management isn’t strange in our life and work environment nowadays, since change becomes part of any project, plan, initiative, and programme; therefore, the employee should give a deep commitment to this process, regardless their rank or level of participation.

Stephen Kofi argued that if you want to make slight change in your life, you may need to focus on your attitude and behaviour, but if you want to make strategic change you should concentrate on your mind and thoughts.

The Security magazine carried an interview with Captain Ali Abdullah Al Matboona , one of the police’s promising leaders, who has lifelong ambition and does not retreat from his personal plans for self- development. He is the author of a book about change called “Leading Change Management in the Dubai Police” which is regarded as the first publication to analyse organizational change in the field of policing in the region.
